I don't have any games that support online gaming YET, but I'm looking into getting Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Portal 2 soon!

I wanted to get Marvel vs Capcom 3 but it looks really bad which is such a shame because those are my favourite fighting games. I do own Portal 2 but I don't and won't have internet.

I was gonna get Portal 2, but I had to replace my copy of Dance Central, and it was half-off at work this week, so I got that instead. (And downloaded D.A.N.C.E. and the steps are fucking dumb.) And Child Of Eden comes out next month and I need to save money for school. I'll never be able to afford Portal 2

Anybody played inFamous? I've heard it's good, but I don't know how I feel about open world games. I'm trying to choose between that and Super Stardust HD for my free PS3 game (the other spot's taken by LittleBigPlanet).

I have Infamous and hate it. I've played the demo of Super Stardust HD but I have trouble playing it because of my colourblindness.

Granted, inFamous is double the price of Super Stardust at this point, isn't it?

I think I'm getting inFamous and Wipeout at this point, and I'll play them for a week before I forget about my PS3 forever again.

So I bought a new gaming computer mostly following the "how to build gaming computers" website:
Intel i7 processor
Asus 6950 2GB video card
Asus motherboard
16 GB ram
120 GB solid state drive

Got the processor on boxing day and the rest I just picked up last weekend. All in I spent about $1600.

Now all I need is new games to play. I've been looking at SW:TOR for a while so I'll give that a go, maybe even a trip back through WoW. I will definitely try a huge map packed with teams on the highest settings for CIV IV (but it will probably still be slow).

My friend has been playing the PC release of Alan Wake and it looks incredible. So good that I'd probably splurge and get an Xbox 360 to play it. So I recommend that, Adam!
