Metric is playing Parliament Hill on Canada Day, like did after synthetica came out a couple years ago (Carly Rae Jepsen opened up for them that time lol, I loved it)
Joshua's solo album came out today, currently listening to it.

Metric did a private show in Vancouver last week at an outdoor venue. They also started their round of festivals this summer.

Halifax. Only notable thing is Dead Disco coming back after being played only twice in 22 months. Pagans album is down to only 2 tracks in a full setlist.

Seeing ChVrches getting a much higher billing than Metric at tthe same festival in Pittsburgh made me raise my eye brow.

Metric is on an 80s cover album for charity. They're doing The Church's "Under the Milky Way".
I've had their recording of it for at least 4 or 5 years, but I'm glad its getting an official release. Its a really good cover tbh, Emily's voice sounds great!
